My apologies to some face bookers. Almost every day I receive a message from Face Book with the names of people who want to link up with me there. The problem is I have no face book account, at least that I know of. I don’t go on any social media sites. I like the  slogan, “Read the news, not the noise”. So my apologies to those who have made the requests. I want you to know it is nothing personal. On second thought however, I guess perhaps having a blog is using a social medium. So why  do I sometimes post (and read) blogs. I am not sure – it has become a habit, albeit an infrequent one. I have an observation that I think may be worth sharing but not substantive enough for an academic article so I guess I will just keep on doing what I have been doing
